The Easiest Strawberry Pie You’ll Ever Make
My sister gave me this super-simple strawberry pie recipe. Every family has that person who is always asked to bring dessert when everyone gets together. In our family, my sister is that person. This recipe was a childhood favorite of her children. It was passed down from their father’s family in Kentucky. They are all grown up now, but they still ask her to make it.
I still have to get her pie crust recipe, but in the meantime, you can’t go wrong with Martha’s.
Strawberry Pie
A super simple strawberry and jello pie recipe that is sure to please the crowd.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pints strawberries cut in half
- 3 tablespoons dry strawberry Jello
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Cut the strawberries in half and put them in a pre-baked pie shell.
- Mix all the other ingredients with the water and bring to a boil until it thickens.
- Pour the hot liquid into a bowl so it can begin to cool. Once it has started to cool, but before it starts to gel, pour it over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate
